Royal Flex Circuits has one of the most experienced team of professionals in the industry. Together, the leaders at the company have over 100 years of experience in flex, rigid-flex and rigid printed circuit board manfucturing.
Scott Kohno, is an entrepreneur and business executive with over 30 years of experience in a variety of industries including technology, real estate and retail. For the past 10 years, he has been on the partner/management team in the flex circuit industry. He has a BA from UCLA and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Scott is passionate about building businesses and has helped clients, including his own children, develop their own successful businesses. He speaks Japanese, has worked in over 20 countries during his career, and is also active in various local non-profits, including serving as a Board of Trustee for Woodbury University in Burbank, CA.
Milan Shah was born in Kenya, East Africa. He completed his high school in Kenya and came to the US to study at Western Michigan University (WMU). He speaks 4 languages fluently; Swahili, Hindi, Gujarati and English.
Milan completed his undergraduate in Computer Information Systems and Business Communications from WMU. Milan began his technology career working for Apple Computer, Inc. From there he moved to Sony Corporation as Director of Multimedia Technologies and introduced leading edge technologies to the North American markets. Milan completed his MBA while working full time for Sony. He then decided to strike out on his own as a partner in a small circuit board operation.
He purchased Royal Flex Circuits in 2016.
Bob Meyer has been in the printed circuit board and flex circuit board industry for over 21 years. He began his engineering career as a process engineer for Speedy Circuits, where he spent 21 years learning the ins and out of circuit board fabrication. While at Speed Circuits, Bob spent considerable time honing his skills with flexible circuit boards in particular.
In 2016, Bob joined the team at Royal Flex Circuits. As Vice President of Operations, he continues to improve the speed, quality and reliability of flex and rigid-flex board orders. Bob also enjoys working alongside customers, helping them incorporate flex boards into their designs.
Larry Ybarra has been ensuring quality in printed circuit boards and flex circuit boards for more than 17 years. Prior to joining Royal Flex Circuits, Larry worked at Speedy Circuits as the company's Lab Supervisor. In this position, he managed the web processes and conducted monthly testing for Cu and SnPB. He also oversaw titrations and documented procedures for new processes.
In his current position as Quality Assurance Manager at Royal Flex, Larry has been instrumental in improving the output of the manufacturing facility. He also recently oversaw a length certification process, which resulted in the company's new ISO 9001:2015 certification.
