Multi-Layer Flex Circuit Boards

Multi-Layer flexible circuit boards are a combination of single and/or double-sided flex laminated with adhesive onto a single and/or double-sided material.  There typically are three or more flexible conductive layers with flexible insulating layers between each one, which are interconnected by way of plated through holes (PTH). Multilayer PCB from 1 to 8 flex layers and up to 10 rigid layers.

Applications

Multi-Sided Flex can be used in:

  • Optical Pick-Up for A/V Equipment and Computers
  • When there are a larger number of signals
  • For signal integrity
  • If stiffeners and components needs to be added
  • Applications such as cameras, battery packs, cell phones, fuel pumps and more.

Multi-Sided features include:

  • Three or more flexible conductive layers with flexible insulating layers in between
